Sheetcart stores the minimum data required to operate: your shop domain, an OAuth access token issued by Shopify, your in-app preferences (such as saved column layouts), a snapshot of your product data taken right before each save (so changes can be traced and recovered), and a short log of each save (date and number of products changed). This data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database) and kept until you uninstall the app.
Sheetcart does not collect, store, or process your customers' personal data. Apart from the pre-save snapshots above, product data is fetched from Shopify when you use the editor and cached temporarily (up to 5 minutes) to improve performance. For very large catalogs (10,000 products or more) on paid plans, Sheetcart keeps a copy of the product data (titles, prices, stock, tags, variants, image links) so pages and searches stay fast; it is kept up to date while the app is installed and deleted when you uninstall.
If you connect Claude to Sheetcart, Claude can read your store's product data (titles, prices, stock, vendors, tags, variants) and prepare draft changes, at your request and into your own Claude account. Claude cannot save anything to your store: a draft is applied only when you open it in Sheetcart and click Save. Sheetcart stores the drafts for up to 7 days and the connection's access tokens only as one-way hashes. Disconnecting in Claude stops access; uninstalling Sheetcart deletes the drafts and tokens.
When you uninstall Sheetcart, Shopify notifies us and all data associated with your shop — sessions, preferences, snapshots, change logs, the catalog copy of very large stores, and Claude connector drafts and tokens — is deleted automatically. One exception: a price set that is live with an automatic revert still to come is kept (its prices and the values to put back) until Shopify's shop/redact request 48 hours later, so the revert can still run if you reinstall. It is then deleted. We honor all GDPR data requests (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) via Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks.
Sheetcart does not sell or share your data with third parties. Infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare (hosting, database, cache) and Shopify (authentication, product data, billing).
